When I was growing up Gift cards were one of those Birthday or Christmas presents that I actually dreaded – I know that sounds ungrateful but they automatically reduced my options for what I wanted to buy (many shops that I liked just didn’t sell them – and my Grandmas and Aunties certainly didn’t shop where I shopped!).
