New iPhone battery that can last up to a WEEK!

Anybody who has an iPhone will understand how annoying the battery life can be! Using hundreds of our favourite apps every day can certainly have its downsides when the dreaded low battery sign flashes up. However, low battery could soon be a thing of the past as it has been revealed that the first ever hydrogen-powered battery will give the iPhone 6 a SEVEN DAY battery life! Imagine that.

British firm, Intelligent Energy have created the fuel cell which is so thin that it fits inside the current cell without making the phone any bulkier. It has now been rumoured that the experts have teamed up with Apple to develop future models.

Henri Winand, chief executive of Intelligent Energy told The Telegraph’s Christopher Williams, who was given exclusive access to the battery: ‘To our knowledge this has never been done before.We have now managed to make a fuel cell so thin we can fit it to the existing chassis without alterations and retaining the rechargeable battery. This is a major step because if you are moving to a new technology you have to give people a path they are comfortable with.’

There hasn’t been a release date set for the hydrogen battery just yet which means they could still be a few years away from hitting our shelves and I’m not sure at what price, but I for one can’t wait!
