Tesco giving away FREE fruit today!

Today could be a great day to do your big shop in Tesco as they are giving away free fruit across the country.

Yes that’s right, this is a Nationwide thing so why not pop down and pick up your free kiwis, apples, clementines and blueberries.

The store will be giving away the freebie between 3.30pm and 5.30pm as part of the ‘Blue Monday’ January health blitz. Apparently today is the ‘worst’ Monday of the year and it seems Tesco are doing everything in their power to help cheer us up. 

A Tesco spokeswoman has said: ‘We know lots of customers will be making healthy little changes to their lifestyle during January and we wanted to do everything we can to help out.’

One Tesco store was previously praised for giving away free fruit to children to eat while they shopped in a bid to encourage them to eat more healthy. Many parents argued that this was a great idea and should be rolled out across the country.

It seems Tesco really want to encourage healthy living and lifestyles!
