A company called whole foods are selling a a ready peeled orange in a plastic tub.

This image has hit the headline after a woman on twitter, Natalie Gordon, posted the photo along with the caption ”If only nature would find a way to cover these oranges so we didn’t need to waste so much plastic on them.”

It has since bee retweeted over 50,000 times.

One person responded: “That makes me unbelievably angry actually.”

Another said: “I guess people are too busy to peel an orange!”

However, some people pointed out that the pre-peeled oranges were handy for the elderly and disabled.

Whole Foods responded to Natalie’s tweet saying ”@awlilnatty Definitely our mistake. These have been pulled. We hear you, and we will leave them in their natural packaging: the peel.”
