Binman finds woman’s $400,000 wedding ring.

This is surely going to be one of the most amazing stories you’ll ever read!

Imagine being given a $400,000 wedding ring? That amounts to around £276,000. Then imagine the devastation after your husband accidently throws it away in the rubbish bin.

Well that’s what happened to one couple in America. Bernie Squiteri threw his wife Carlas wedding ring and anniversary band in the bin after she took it off to wash the dishes and left it on the kitchen worktop.

His wife realised what had happened the next day and asked where the rubbish was, but the binmen had already taken it.

What’s even worse is that when they rang the bin company, they found that the rubbish was going to a radioactive waste tip.

The company redirected the truck and the operations manager offered to help look for the ring. Imagine how small the chances must have been of actually finding  the ring amongst an actual rubbish tip? Surely it must have been like looking for a needle in a huge hay stack.

But no, as if by some crazy miracle Allen the binman found the ring within just 20 minutes! The rubbish pile was even described as ‘half a city block long and 20 feet high.’
