Argos have overcharged thousands of store card customers
Customers have been overcharged around £30million…
Argos have said a “systems error” led to it taking around thirty million pounds too much in arrears fees.
Argos will begin to write to affected customers starting next month, so if you are one of the affected customers then you will find out soon.
This only seems to have affected customers who have had arrears recently.
Anyone who has been charged late payment fees on their Argos card will be anxious to know whether they have been over charged – but the company still isn’t giving out much detail.
Argos aren’t given an exact figure they think may have been affected by this error, just that it is less than 10% of their customers.
