20% off Smyths
Smyths do this great offer every year in the run up to Christmas and it’s a great way to make some great savings on the must have toys!

SMYTHS run this offer every year and every year they deny it is happening. This is to avoid people holding off buying as they know people will wait for the 20% off event instead. We will NOT know for sure if they are running the event until around 8pm the night before (14th September) when they will start advertising the event on TV and their social media pages. So, right now we can NOT confirm if this is 100% going ahead, we are going off information from our insider who works at SMYTHS. It may be worth holding off for the Argos 3 for 2 events instead as this is usually better value for money, so either way, you’re going to save money.
Every year we have released the date long before anyone else and for the past three years, we have had the date spot on! Make sure you keep checking our website and Facebook page for all the insider information before anyone.
The Smyths 20% off event MAY start on 15th September 2017, if it does, this promotion will run until the 18th September 2017.
Last years event was a success but the queues were huge so I suggest getting there early to avoid disappointment.

It is worth checking the price of what you want to buy now. I have found the past few year that Smyths have taken off their best special offers and most items were full price in time for this event. Some prices were much better before and after the event.
Last year when this offer was on, Toys R Us offered a price match offer. You had to prove the item was in stock in your nearest Smyths store and what the price is, so it is handy to have your phone ready at the till to prove this (this is if Toys R Us plan on joining in again)
This event is perfect if you want to start planning ahead for Christmas or birthdays.

Smyths are not doing the 20% off weekend. I spoke to the Glasgow store, said they are doing a sale of some sort but they don’t know when or what yet.
Is this definitely starting 15th?
