Build A Bear Stuffing Station
Are your children huge Build A Bear fans? They’ll love this!
My youngest 2 children Jamie and Katie are HUGE Build A Bear fans, we visit the shop a few times a year around special occasions and let them build a new bear.
They both love watching YouTube unboxing videos which I find completely strange but it seems my children aren’t alone as a lot of you got in touch after I mentioned it over on my Facebook page and said your children watch these too.
They seen one family do an unboxing and review of a Build A Bear Stuffing Station and it went straight to the top of their Christmas list. So when we were offered one to review we jumped at the chance, Jamie and Katie were so excited!
When it arrived they unboxed it like YouTube pros and couldn’t wait to get started.
The Build A Bear Station came with 2 bears to build and 2 bags of stuffing. We were also sent a refill box which contained an extra bear, pack of stuffing and some accessories such as the ‘heart’ to put in your bear.
We had just been to a new restaurant opening so this is why Katie is looking like a butterfly. This is both boxes we received as Katie kindly shows us.
The box contents. Just like you would in store, you get birth certificates for your bear which you can hand write. You can also give your bear a wand, a heart or even a butterfly!
It is so easy to get started, simply fill the machine with the stuffing and you’re ready to go! The best thing about this stuffing machine is it is operated by the handle which means no hunting for batteries on Christmas morning when you realise you have forgot to buy some.
There is a nozzle on the side of the machine which you attach the back of your bear to. The bear has a zip up back rather than needing stitched. It was quite tricky to get the bear securely onto the nozzle and it did take a little bit of adult help but then it was straight back to the children taking control.
They took turns to turn the handle which manoeuvred the stuffing into their bears.
When your bear is stuffed you write a message or a wish on a double love heart which is then clipped into a plastic heart to keep the message/wish safe.
Place the heart inside your bear then zip up the back of the bear and you’re all done!
This is Katie’s first bear done!

The Build A Bear Stuffing Station is a good price and I love how you can get refill packs so the fun doesn’t end when the stuffing does. It can be a little fiddly getting the bear onto the nozzle and Jamie said most of the bears look quite girly so for that I would give this a 4 out of 5.
I definitly think your child will love this if they received it for Christmas or their birthday but they may need a little help to build their bear – it is a great activity you could do together.
