Mother’s Day is less than a fortnight away (it’s the 26th March) so I thought now would be a good time to put together a few gift suggestions to help you find the perfect present for your Mum. Don’t leave it to the last minute and turn up with some flowers from your nearest petrol station, take a look at some of my suggestions below and you’ll be sure to get major brownie points this year! I’m going to put together separate guides for all the major gift groups (Flowers, Jewellery, Cards & Chocolates will all follow later this week). To kick things off take a look below at my gift suggestions – there are some great ideas for unique presents (and you won’t have to break the bank either).

My 1st Years

My 1st Years have some amazing gift ideas for Mother’s Day, especially if you’re shopping for a mum with young children. There are some lovely personalised gifts including this gorgeous babygrow, add your child’s name for the extra special touch. I would have loved to receive this personalised 1st Mother’s Day frame when my kids were babies. It’s perfect to commemorate your first year with your little one, especially as you can include their handprint within the frame to remember how small they were! Matalan really does have a great range of gorgeous gifts for all price ranges. I especially like these Tulips in a Bowl, they are really elegant and would be a lovely table centrepiece! Why not make up your own little gift box of all mums favourites. I got one of these last year, with pyjamas, candle and a cute wine glass and had my perfect mum’s evening in! Joy the Store

JOY has some really great indulgent treats and a huge range to choose from. Why not treat your leading lady to scarves in 100% cashmere, soy wax candles, delicate jewellery or luxury leather purses? Or if pampering sessions are the ticket to her heart, they have a fabulous range of life’s little luxuries – Oh! Also hair and face masks, panda-shaped cooling eye pads and luxury bath oils. If you’re thinking of getting Mum some new perfume then make sure you take a look at the flash sale at Brand Alley with up to 50% fragrance. I love searching through I Want One of Those when it comes to gifts. They have some really unique and quirky gift ideas and something to suit every Mum! Really spoil her this year with an extra special treat from luxury spa days to chocolates and home comforts. My top picks this year are all about scents, such as the Scent From Box, Luxury Brand Baylis & Harding and the Design your own Perfume Kit which is just gorgeous for the creative Mums out there! You really can find something for everyone here.

NIKE

And finally, for those super fit Mums who just won’t appreciate the wine, chocolate or flowers types of gifts why not check out the Nike sale and get them what they can really use! There are some great discounts in the Nike sale at the moment with almost 30% of a wide range of products. I especially like the little gifts which are really handy but the sort of thing you would normally never buy yourself. Like this gym tote bag which is really cute and a great size or for the runners out there this hand-held water bottle looks so much easier to run with than a bulky one.
