The popular supermarket has recalled its gluten-free scotch eggs after fearing they may cause an allergic reaction.
Marks & Spencer believe their 2 pack of scotch eggs labelled “made without Wheat, gluten free”, were found to contain gluten in some packs, which was not stated on the label.
Many people who buy the scotch eggs have intolerances that mean they can’t consume gluten, and so the company fears they may cause a reaction.
The affected packs reportedly include sell by dates up to, and including Monday 29th January 2018, and have the product code of 00975339.
The store is urging its customers to return the product as soon as possible for a full refund.
