Waitrose Are Making A HUGE Change To Their Loyalty Scheme

If you’re a member of Waitrose’s loyalty scheme, you’re gonna wanna read this…

Currently, the my Waitrose loyalty scheme allows members to choose 10 items from a list of products, which they can then buy 20% off in-store and online. You can change your 10 products once per month.

The new system is pretty similar to the likes of Sainsbury’s Nectar Card, Boots Advantage Card, and Tesco Clubcard.

Starting on the 28th February 2018, Waitrose customers will no longer get to choose their 20% off items. Instead, customers will receive personalised vouchers and offers, which they can either opt to be posted to their home or collect at checkout in-store.

Unlike the Clubcard, Nectar, and Advantage Card schemes, the new myWaitrose program won’t let you collect points as you shop. The only discounts customers receive will be the ones on their personalised voucher. A spokesperson from the brand stated that the vouchers will be sent out “several times a year”.

Do you shop at this supermarket often? What do you think about these changes?
