My family and I head to Blackpool every year without fail. It’s one of our favourite holiday destinations, you can’t beat a great British seaside holiday. Ok, the weather may not always be on your side but there is always plenty of fun to be had at local attractions, arcades, and not forgetting the beach!

We love heading to Madame Tussauds when we head to Blackpool, there is always something new to see and it’s great for adults and children alike.

We have been planning a mini break in Blackpool and were super excited for a visit because we heard Madame Tussauds had an updated sporting area and a brand new Marvel area. I instantly knew this was going to be a hit with my family, especially my son Jamie, and husband Aaron.

We were that excited we arrived with the crowds BEFORE the venue opened at 10am, we wanted to make sure we were one of the first to see the new fab areas.

When you head inside you see many familiar faces from television, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Tweedy, Paddy McGuinness and Jeremy Kyle – who I am a HUGE fan of. I was lucky enough to be in the audience of his shows a few months ago and it was great fun.

There are fun games and facts for the children as you head through the attraction. They are presented with a celebrity scratch card as they enter the attraction! They have to simply scratch off the star every time they spot a celebrity on their card, they really enjoyed it.

I will share plenty of photos for you guys throughout this post so you can see exactly who you can expect to see when you visit Madame Tussauds yourself. Don’t forget your camera though, you can get some fab selfies!

To get the lowest price entry, you need to buy online in advance. This will save you 15% against on-the-door prices which all adds up when there is more than one of you visiting.

You can also get multi-attraction tickets so you can visit other Blackpool attractions such as The Tower Eye, The Circus, The Dungeons, the soft play and The Sea Life Centre. Depending on how many additional attractions you choose to visit you will save a minimum of £10.
