Lidl Recalls Jaffa Cakes Over Labelling Error

Lidl is letting its shoppers know that packs of Sondey Jaffa Cakes and Sondey Jaffa Minis contain milk due to a misprint on their labelling.

The budget supermarket known to stock its own branded products are recalling Sondey Jaffa Cakes (300g) and Sondey Mini Biscuit Assortment (125g) after allergy fears.

Both of these products have been found to contain milk, and so those with intolerances have been advised not to eat them.

Shoppers with dairy intolerances have been issued a statement by the Food Standards Agency to refrain from consumption and to return the pack to their nearest Lidl store in exchange for a full refund, with or without a receipt.

People with an intolerance to milk may experience problems with their digestive system if consuming products containing milk, such as stomach cramps and vomiting.

These products are considered a potential health risk for anyone with an allergy and intolerance, so go get your refund if you have an intolerance!
