Kids love adventures when schools out. But you don’t have to break the bank in order to entertain the kids over the Easter holidays.

To make them extra hoppy this Easter, we’ve put together a guide on how to make the most of free activities across the UK.

Pets At Home free kids workshops

The nation’s favorite pet store is running workshops in all 400 stores across the UK for children during the holidays!

Workshops can vary from petting guinea pigs and hamsters to how you must properly care and look after pets.

After full completion of the workshop, children will be given a certificate and stickers! Yay!

The workshops can last from 30 minutes to approximately an hour and activities will differ from store to store so check out the times here.

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

Have some family fun with Easter egg hunts hosted by Cadburys!

Whilst participating, the kids will receive clues and hints, as well as a Cadbury treat at the end of the hunt.

Prices of the Easter egg hunts are between £2-£4 as well as the normal fee to enter the National Trust site.

There are around 300 sites across the UK so hop on over to Cadburys website to find out where your local hunt will be held.

Odeon tickets for kids £2.50

During weekends and school holiday mornings, adults and kids screenings for selected movies are just £2.50.

Check out the Odeon website for further information. Alternatively, to save yourself a booking fee, just turn up at the cinema and hope for the best!

Participate in free Hobbycraft in-store activities

Hobbycraft is holding free workshops for children in-store in most stores across the UK.

The workshops will range from painting your own money boxes, Easter egg decorating and making lots of gooey slimes!

To find out the time, date and type of activities in your local store, head over to the Hobbycraft website. You may also need to book for certain activities.

Free kids gardening workshops at Dobbies Garden Centre

During the Easter holidays and the first Sunday of every month, kids can attend free nature and wildlife workshops.

Children will learn how to plant seeds and ways in which they must look after plants for them to grow.

To book, either go in-store or online and find the nearest participating branch and timings as they will differ.

Visit free museums and galleries nationwide

From learning how biscuits are made to learning about archeology and all things science, kids can attend a variety of museums during school hols for free!
