A Bed Saves A Life After A 60ft Fall In A John Lewis Store.
A 60 year old woman, who fell 60ft over a balcony, had her life saved by a display bed in John Lewis. She fell over a balcony from the upper floor in the store in the a place to land onto a display bed.
After she fell, the emergency services were contacted for support. The woman was taken to hospital where they find out that she only sustained minor injuries, including hip and spine injuries.

This incident happened in a John Lewis store in Cheadle, Grater Manchester. After the incident happened the store was closed and people who witnessed the event were offered support.
A spokesperson for John Lewis has said that “our customers’ safety is of the utmost importance to us” and are now helping the police in the investigation.
