The affordable warmth scheme, formerly known as the Warm Front Scheme, offers grants to go towards new boilers, cavity wall insulation and loft insulation.

If you qualify for this grant then not only will you be benefiting from a warmer home, but you will also see a noticeable decrease in your energy bills. 

If you receive pension credit or child tax credit then you will likely be eligible for the Government run scheme but there are also several other ways you will be able to qualify. Click here to see if you do.

An inefficient boiler will cost you hundreds of pounds every year so it is well worth checking that this is rated ‘C’ or above.
