Beanie Babies Are Finally Worth Thousands!

Did anyone else used to be slightly obsessed with ty Beanie Babies when they were younger? I used to have absolutely loads and now I’m kicking myself because they are selling on eBay with bids starting from £20,000!

A young couple from Cornwall recently bought a Beanie Baby bear for £10 at a car boot sale and were shocked to learn that they had picked up a limited edition Princess Diana Di Beanie Baby, one of the most sought after in the world!

 

beanieThe couple struck lucky as there were only ever 100 made across the world and another version is listed on eBay for £62,000!

I remember people telling me whilst I was at school that the soft toys were going to be worth a lot of money in the future, however, the whole collection craze completely died out by 1999 and not much has been heard about them since, until now of course.

 

It’s now emerging that the 1st edition Princess Diana soft toy isn’t the only ty Beanie Baby worth a fortune! You might want to go and check your collections for these hidden gems which are also selling for top dollar on eBay.

This royal Blue Elephant Beanie Baby named ‘Peanut’ is currently selling on the peanut-dark-blue-9300US eBay site for a cool $2,500, but others are priced at $1,500 and $945 by different sellers. The Beanie Babies Price Guide lists this little toy as the top rarest and most sought-after Beanie Baby.

Apparently this little Brown bear is another Beanie Baby to keep your eye out for, as it turns out he is one off the first ever to be produced! It is also thought to be even more valuable if it has a Korean tag attached to it! Bids on this particular bear start on eBay bear beaniefrom $1,200! So if you or any of your friends were big fans of these little treasures in the 90’s, then it might be a good idea to spread the word and see what treasures you can unearth! You never know, you might end up £62,000 richer like the young couple from Cornwall.

  1. Omg I have about 200 of these and the princess Diana one and all the ones on this post I have two of the Britannia bears too maybe it’s time to go in the attic get then out and start selling them!
