Cafe offers free cups of tea to breastfeeding mothers
It is doing amazingly well in Australia, should it be introduced here in the UK?
The Willows café in Willoughby in Sydney, Australia is making life a little easier for new mam’s. A sign hangs in the front of the cafe which invites new mothers to come in to breastfeed their baby and have a cup of tea.
The sign reads; ”Pop in, have a free cup of tea if you need a pit stop… No need to eat, no need to ask — please relax”
The owner of The Willows said she wanted to do something nice for fellow mam’s.
Someone posted the sign on their Facebook page and the reaction has been incredible with many people applauding the cafe for their offer.
Should cafes in the UK follow their example?
Do you know anywhere that does this kind of offer already and you want to give them a mention?
