Usually if you’re looking to have a posh afternoon tea you can expect to pay a hefty price, but now Ikea have revealed that they will be offering their own version called Swedish Fika, and it’s only £5!

Apart from buying loads of homeware that we never knew we needed, there’s nothing better than indulging in copious amounts of Daim cakes when we go to Ikea, so you’ll probably be pleased to hear that the Swedish store will soon be offering an afternoon tea, and there’s loads of yummy treats to be had.

The Swedish themed menu sounds delicious and consists of:

  • Prawn & egg canape/ Seaweed pearl & egg canape (V)
  • Meatball open sandwich/ Cheese open sandwich (V)
  • Krustader with herring/ Krustader with cheese and gherkin (V)
  • Daim cake (V)
  • Cinnamon bun (V)
  • Kafferprep pastries & biscuits

The afternoon tea’s cost a fanastically affordable £5 per person and can be enjoyed at Ikea restaurants all over the country.

The event is for over 18’s only so unfortunately (or fortunately) you won’t be able to take the kids with you.

The event will be held this May, and if you want to participate you’ll have to act fast because it’s selling out quickly!

We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to indulge on Ikea’s tasty feast!
