If you’re signed up to this website you may want to be cautious

BeautifulPeople.com, was hacked in November and details including sexual preferences, income, addresses and 15 million messages between users were stolen.

The hack has only just come to light after the details of the affected members were sold according to Forbes.

The controversial dating site has a strict acceptance programme, you must be deemed attractive to be on the site.

Other leaked data included weight, height, job, education, body type, eye colour and hair hue, as well as email addresses and mobile phone number.

Troy Hunt, an Australian security expert who runs the website HaveIBeenPwned told Forbes the data has been traded online but he doesn’t know where or for how much.

If your details have been sold on to scammers it is worth keeping an eye on your bank account, any online accounts etc.
