How would you like to bag an extra £5 when you top up your Amazon account to spend on whatever you like?

Well, Amazon is introducing its brand new ‘top-up in store’ service which allows its customers to add credit to their amazon accounts in person, and is giving you a free additional £5 worth of credit to spend online when you top up £20.

You can top up easily in an array of different stores and supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, Co-op and various newsagents from as little as £5 up to £250.

Money that you top-up will remain valid for a decade and it can be used on the majority of items sold by Amazon online.

All you need to do to claim is head to the till with your barcode, which you can get by logging in to your Amazon account via ‘get your barcode’. You can print this out or request a text barcode to show to the cashier when you top up your account by at least £20.

When you’ve finished shopping online, you can redeem your free fiver at the payment section by ticking the ‘use your £5 promotional balance’ box.

If your items amount to more than £5 you can use your gift card to pay the rest!

You must use the free £5 by 11:59pm Thursday 30th November.

This offer is exclusive to in-store top up’s so head down to your local shop to claim your freebie!
