Right guys listen up, I’ve stumbled upon an amazingly big deal which I know so many of you are going to benefit from! There’s a strong chance that you could be eligible for a 100% boiler replacement grant to replace your old boiler, and the best bit is its unbelievably easy to apply!
The boiler grant is part of the Energy Company Obligation, a government scheme funded by utility companies, and has basically been put in place to help low income households in England. So if you qualify, and have a boiler that is 8 years old or more, you can apply to have a brand new boiler fitted for free!
To qualify you need to have your own home, or you should be a tenant living in privately rented accommodation. You must also be in receipt of one of the following benefits:
- Pensions Credit
- Child Tax Credit (with an income of £15,860 or less)
- Working Tax Credit (with an income of £15,860 or less)
- Income Support
- Income – based Job Seeker’s Allowance

For those of you who don’t quite meet the criteria, then all is not lost. There’s an alternative solution for you too and its called the Green Deal Finance Scheme. It has been described as a ‘loan against your home’ which you can use to carry out approved and recommended home improvements.
The idea behind this government scheme is to provide homeowners with the opportunity to become more energy efficient. But we all know what that translates to. Yes thats right, cheaper bills!
Benefits of taking out the Green Deal Finance include:

– The loan will be paid back through bill savings
