This is Angela, she’s 40, a size 14, and fun loving! She was looking for something fun and fashionable that she could have a good dance in, but that was flattering too.

Angela opted for this gorgeous, long sleeved, velvet playsuit with frill detail on the shoulders. It looks great worn with tights if it’s chilly, or if you’re not confident wearing your legs bare. She paired her look with these thigh high boots for a youthful vibe, a little gold belt to cinch her in, and a star sign glitter embellished bag to add some pretty, festive sparkle to her look. This outfit is great for if you’re not in to wearing dresses but still looks Christmas party ready!

Angela says, “I’d have never normally of thought of Simply Be as my first destination for finding a Christmas party outfit and didn’t realise that they made clothing in my size until recently. The fit was perfect on all items and made me feel really confident too! I can’t wait to wear them throughout the party season, especially the playsuit and thigh high boots which are perfect for dancing the night away! Megan

This is Megan, she’s 22 years old and a size 14. Her style is quite polished and she loves to wear well cut clothing with defined lines and pointed toes. For her party look this year, Megan was looking for a style that accentuated her small waist, and that flattered the areas she feels less confident about- her stomach and thighs.

Therefore, Megan opted for a gorgeous Edwardian style, frill collar dress featuring mid-length sleeves. She’s not really in to glitter and sequins, so this velvet, merlot hued dress was perfect for her in that it looks and feels luxurious for a party, but also looks amazing styled with chunky boots and leather for a grungy look through the day!

Megan paired her dress with a contrasting pair of leopard print ankle boots, as she’s not really in to wearing heels, and added a skinny belt to show off her fabulous waist. She then opted for a mini, royal blue velvet bag which is great for carrying her essentials, and it keeps with the regal look of the dress too.

Megan said: “I felt really confident in the outfit, I loved how the leopard print boots clashed with the texture of the dress and I think the silver chain detail of the bag really set the whole look off.”

Nicola

This is Nicola, she’s 38 and a size 18. She’s a mother of two, so likes to get really dressed up for a night out so was looking for something a bit sparkly and fun.

Nicola opted for this gorgeous Joe Browns sequin dress because nothing screams glamour like the style of the 1920’s! Nicola loved this dress because it has a bit of a capped sleeve, which takes the attention away from her arms, a cinched in waist to define her wonderful curves, and a floaty skater style skirt, perfect for dancing! She paired her glitzy look with mid-heel court shoes to tone down the look a little and to keep her feet comfortable while she hits the dance floor. She also ordered a gorgeous silver pair of strappy stilettos for when she wants to go all out glam. Nicola then added a beaded box bag in various shades of silver and grey to pick out the detail in the dress.

Nicola said, “Being a mam I rarely get a night out, and if i do, it tends to be for a family meal. Dressing up in this outfit for my Christmas party made me feel confident, glamorous and ready to dance the night away!”
