I can’t wait to tell my son about this when I collect him from school later, he started reading Harry Potter books just before Christmas and now he is a HUGE fan.
There will be parties and celebrations held all over the world on Thursday, 4th February 2016 to celebrate J.K. Rowling’s wonderful novels.
The first Harry Potter Book Night was held in February 2015, there were an amazing 10,500 parties and celebrations held all over the world and now it is back for you to get in on the action if you missed out last year.
I’m in Newcastle and my local event will be held in Waterstones bookshop. The bookshop will celebrate with live owls, quizzes, magical games and face painters. There will also be fancy dress.
Most Waterstones stores will be taking part in this event. According to Waterstones website it is free but a ticketed event, however, I have just called my local store for tickets and was told we didn’t need tickets and could just turn up.
So why not get together with friends or take the kids and have a magical evening out.
