How exciting is this?!

I thought I would write a post to tell you a bit about myself and why I started this page.

I’m Ashleigh, obviously, married with 3 children and I HATE paying full price for anything haha

I love bargain hunting but I also love a good gossip so feel free to head over the to forum on here and we can talk about What your doing at the weekend, Corrie or Geordie Shore lol (Massive guilty pleasure of mine because I’m from Newcastle)

I have always loved a bargain and I would look for the best bargains and post them to my personal Facebook page, I think people got sick of seeing them if I’m honest so when a friend suggested I make a page or group to post them all in I decided to do it.

It took off so quickly with friends sharing amongst their friends and so on and within a week I was chuffed to bits because I had nearly 100 likes haha!

I was in low paid part time employment at the time so I thought I knew what it was like to struggle with bills and thought I was helping everyone with all my voucher codes and deals. That was until I was made redundant because the store I worked in wasn’t busy enough, then I really knew what it was like to struggle. We were relying on my husbands wage alone to pay all the bills and to look after our 3 children. Luckily I managed to find another job a short while later and things started to pick up again. I think that may be one of the reasons why my page has been successful because I know what its like to struggle and people can relate to that.

After all that happened it made me more determined than ever to bargain hunt to continue to help people save money whether they were struggling or not.

The page continued to grow and I recently hit 70,000 likes and decided to introduce a twitter page too.

I have always wanted a website and when the opportunity came along for me to have one I jumped at the chance!

Because the Facebook page got so popular I started looking into affiliate linking which just means for every purchase someone makes through one of my links I get a commission from the retailer. It went well so I have taken the chance to do this full time and make a career out of it.

I am so excited and cant wait to get started, so please continue to keep sharing with your friends 🙂
