How to get free beauty treatments
We all love a good pamper but finding the money can often be difficult. There always seems to be something else to buy or pay for such as the kids needing new clothes, school trips, a higher than usual gas bill… it never ends!
Well now it’s time to take some much needed time out and enjoy a few beauty treatments… without spending a penny (Ok, you may need the bus fair into town).
Many beauty counters offer free treatments at many of their counters in hope you like their products and return later on to buy them. It’s a great way of trialling their products before you part with your cash in the hope you like them.
Makeup services
Benefit
You can get a mini make upper from Benefit and they will apply your makeup giving you a new look. Benefit products are great quality and very popular, now you can try them before parting with your cash.
Smashbox
Smashbox gives 15 minutes make up tutorials at their counters. You can usually choose from full face makeup, a new lip look or a new eye look. This can be a great way to master the smokey eye.
Clinique
Clinique offers an express lip makeover (3 minutes) or a full makeover (10 minutes). they also do an eye makeover which lasts between 10 – 20 minutes.
Chanel
Head to your nearest Chanel counter and get a 15-minute masterclass on a flawless face, killer eyes and signature lips.
Bare Minerals
Bare Minerals offer a make-under which will see you freeing your skin of harsh makeup and simply using a tailored range of products to create the perfect look just for you. They apply the product to half of your face then you apply the other half. They can also teach you the art of the perfect lips or smokey eyes.
MAC
It is best to head to Mac on a midweek when it’s quieter as their 5-minute makeovers can turn into 20 – 25 minutes. They have master classes to show you how to create the perfect eye look, lip look or full face. I have used their full face makeover class and it lasted about 20 minutes and the final look was amazing! I did go back and purchase some of the products because I was that impressed.
NO7
No7 Match Made service uses the latest technology to find your perfect shade from foundation to lipstick. They’ll then apply the product and show you how best to do this. Again, it’s best to head here at a quiet time because No7 counters get very busy.
