It’s a well known fact that one of the best things about a trip to IKEA, bar buying things that you never knew you needed, is the rewarding hot dog you get at the end!
However, unfortunately for some people, i.e. vegetarians, they don’t get to enjoy the tasty snack due to them obviously being made out of meat.
But now, the Swedish retailer has revealed that it will be releasing a vegetarian version of the stores famous hotdog this year!
Ikea announced on Instagram that they are currently testing the new food at stores in Sweden.
The Swedish brand said: “Adding a veggie hot dog to the IKEA Bistro range is part of our ambitions to include more plant-based ingredients in our food offer.”
Ikea is planning on releasing the veggie hot dog to European stores from August.
So, with this exciting new addition, veggies and people who don’t like meat will also be able to look forward to a yummy treat for on their way home too!
You have to admit, they do look delicious!
