Hey, George! Fancy a FREE day out?

Saturday 23rd April marks St George’s Day and to celebrate, Drayton Manor Park is offering anyone whose first name is George free entry into the theme park on either 23rd or 24th April.

To qualify for this fantastic offer you simply need to turn up with a valid form of ID such as passport, birth certificate, or driving licence to show your ‘George’ heritage and you’ll be guaranteed a day of fun, thrills and spills.

If you are taking anyone along with you, it is cheaper for them to purchase tickets on Drayton Manors website in advance.

Not only that, Drayton Manor Park are also launching its very own George and Dragon pub to celebrate the weekend. Traditional favourites like pie and mash and fish and chips will be available in the park and can be enjoyed in the outdoor area of the pub, complete with wooden benches and tables nestled amidst the attraction’s very own green and pleasant land.

The outdoor pub is next to the Castle of Dreams opposite the lake and will have lots of events throughout the year and extras for for people to enjoy this summer.

Within Drayton Manor you can enjoy Europe’s only Thomas Land™, the brand new Tamarin Trail, and some of the biggest, scariest and wettest rides around. There is even a zoo onsite!

George Bryan, Director at Drayton Manor Park comments: “The name George is very strongly associated with Drayton Manor Theme Park as my grandfather, George Bryan, founded this incredible attraction sixty six years ago and myself also being called George!

“We thought that St George’s Day would be the perfect opportunity to let people that share this name take advantage of a fantastic offer, and mark this patriotic celebration in style.”
