Sky News has reported that the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) will accuse the big six energy groups – British Gas, EDF Energy, Eon, Npower, Scottish Power and SSE – of overcharging customers on average by approximately 5% because they exploit general consumer disengagement with the market.

I am not surprised to be honest, I looked into switching my energy supplier around a year ago and found it totally confusing. Even comparison sites didn’t help as they all have their preferred suppliers and they are full of gimmicks to get you to go through them… Who really needs a cuddly toy to change their energy supplier?

It got me thinking about approaching the energy companies myself, with the power of the crowd, to demand lower rates – and it seems to be working! 

 It is so simple… Once I have receive your details, an auction will then be conducted in which energy suppliers will compete to give you their best rates in return for your custom! 

Once the best possible offer has been made, we will let you know what your new and improved tariff could be and how much you would be saving.
