Money making ideas for couples!

Are you and your significant other saving up for a house, holiday or perhaps would just like some extra cash to be able to enjoy the finer things in life? Well there are some ways you could make some extra cash to help towards your income.

Here are some top money making tips for couples.

Make money renting out space

Do you have a spare room in your house? Why not rent it out for a few weeks? You’ll have full control over who stays and for how long so it doesn’t have to be as bad as you may think. This is a great help towards household bills and doesn’t have to be a permanent thing.

Don’t have a spare room? What about a spare parking space? I’ve mentioned this before but it really could be a great way to make cash from nothing. Click here to find out how.

Mystery shopping

If you are trying to save money as a couple then mystery shopping could be a great idea. You won’t have to fork out for posh meals, hotel stays or even drinks at a bar as you’ll be rewarded for reviewing all of these things. It’s easy to sign up and you can both sign up individually for even more opportunities. Click here to find out how you can become a mystery shopper.

Writing to magazines

I know this is going to sound random, but did you know you can make between £10 – £200 just by writing to a magazine? You don’t even have to write anything, some magazines like Take A Break and Pick Me Up  will pay you just for sending a photograph in.

Consider switching current accounts

Have you ever looked into switching current accounts? Lots of banks pay you to switch. For example the Halifax Reward Current Account pays £125 to switch over to their account. They’ll then give you another £5 the month after that. The C0-Operative bank will match Halifax’s. Except £25 of the £125 will go to charity.

Cut your tax by transferring to your spouses account

Transferring your savings into an account of a spouse who pays less tax than you or no tax at all could cut your income tax bill significantly. Click here to read my top ways of legally cutting down your tax.
