Packs of salmon skewers recalled amid fears for people with lactose intolerance.

Morrisons has recalled its packs of ‘4 salmon skewers in a BBQ dressing’ and has warned anyone allergic to milk not to eat the skewers.

The packaging used on the product doesn’t mention milk as an allergen – so anybody with lactose intolerance could react badly to the skewers and should therefore avoid them.

Morrisons advise anyone that has bought the product should return it to the store and they will receive a full refund.

No other products are affected by the problem.

Morrisons wrote: “We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”
