Mum confronted after leaving baby in 58-degree car for hour!

A video has gone viral on social media showing the moment a mum was confronted after leaving her daughter in a sweltering car for 45 minutes in a scorching hot car!

The woman left her daughter in the car for almost an hour while she shopped in Walmart, claiming she ‘forgot the child was in the vehicle.’

Jenny Rollins, child passenger safety advocate for Safe Kids Tulsa, explained that shockingly a child dies every 10 days in the U.S. as a result of being left unattended in a sweltering vehicle due to the climate.

Jenny says: ‘Because children are susceptible to heatstroke within a matter of minutes after being inside a hot vehicle, it is important that parents be aware of the risks.’

Witnesses spotted the little girl in the car who was sweating profusely in apparently 58-degree heat. They immediately rang the emergency services who freed the one-year-old.

It is thought that the woman is now being held in custody while the little girl is being looked after her father.
