Netflix is giving employees ‘unlimited’ maternity and paternity!

I can imagine Netflix is a pretty cool company to work for anyway, but now they have just announced that they are giving their employees ‘unlimited’ maternity and paternity leave!

Netflix have said that they want to give their employers the ‘flexibility and confidence to balance the needs of their growing families without worrying about work or finances.’

And so the company is giving them unlimited time off during the first year after their child is born or adopted.

Netflix said: ‘We want employees to have the flexibility and confidence to balance the needs of their growing families without worrying about work or finances. Parents can return part-time, full-time, or return and then go back out as needed. We’ll just keep paying them normally, eliminating the headache of switching to state or disability pay. Each employee gets to figure out what’s best for them and their family, and then works with their managers for coverage during their absences.’

Netflix already offers an ‘unlimited time off policy’ where it doesn’t keep track of how much annual leave an employee takes.

So the question is, how do we get ourselves a job there?
