Nethermined, Minecraft event in Newcastle
Perfect for anyone with Minecraft mad children
Saturday 5th March and Sunday 6th March will see the return of Nethermined with a new venue and new format.
Last year was all about the YouTubers and singings, but this year they have changed the format to suit all the family – parents included!
Don’t fret though, there will still be lots of YouTubers!
This year the YouTubers will participate in 16 live gaming sessions/panels and Q&A’s providing entertainment for all ages!
Some more activities you can see on the day include…
- 2 Oculus Rifts, some Gear VR’s
- 4 table top retro gaming machines
- an art zone manned by Artventurers
- Photo opportunities – which child doesn’t want their photo taking with Steve?!
- 2 face painters (small charge applies)
- Cosplay competition
- Minecraft EDU workshops
- Minecraft and Geeky Merchandise
- Parents Zone, where parents can learn about and even learn to play Minecraft.
- A charity raffle with some great prizes, raising funds for the Sunshine Fund!
Time table of events can be seen here…
Nethermined will be on 5th & 6th March 2016 between 11am and 5pm on both days. This years event will be taking place at Northumbria University Student Union building.
