A new Harry Potter book just announced…
There are exciting things coming from the wizarding world this year including the Special Rehearsal Edition of the script book of new stage play ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II.
Print and digital editions will publish simultaneously after the play’s world premiere this summer, and will comprise of the version of the play script at the time of the play’s preview performances.
A script book of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II, will be on sale July 31. The eighth story in the series, The Cursed Child is based on a new play making its world premiere in London, this summer – one day before the publication of the book, on July 30.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child picks up 19 years after Potter defeats Voldemort in the seventh book. A synopsis says Harry is now an overworked employee at the Ministry of Magic, while his youngest son, Albus, struggles “with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted.”
The seven previous Harry Potter books have sold over 450 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 79 languages. I predict this book will be even bigger as there are many new Harry Potter fans across the globe.
