I LOVE Krispy Kreme doughnuts and I LOVE Nutella – put them together and I’m in heaven!

It seems that Krispy Kreme have sent it to their ENTIRE fan base! Was this an accident or a publicity stunt for the new Nutella doughnut? Who cares, I’m too excited to care 😀

I have received this top secret information today after a ‘confidential’ memo was sent around to Krispy Kreme stores to advise them the Nutella doughnut was on its way!

The email states ”The rumours are true! Krispy Kreme will be creating a new limited edition doughnut filled with NUTELLA®.It’s been an idea in the making for some time now and as we’re approaching the launch. From 27th May, Krispy Kreme will launch the ‘Nutty Chocolatta’ doughnut, filled with NUTELLA®. This is a very exciting time for us and following the consumer testing, we anticipate that there will be a huge demand for the doughnuts from both Krispy Kreme and NUTELLA® fans across the country.

We would like all stores to be fully prepared for this launch. To this effect, all Hotlight stores will receive multiple pallets loaded with jars of NUTELLA®. These will be dropped in the middle of the night to ensure the new doughnut variety is kept completely secret until launch. (urm, sorry – it won’t)

PREPARATION FOR EXTREME FANS
Through our consumer testing, it’s apparent that the combination of a Krispy Kreme doughnut filled with NUTELLA® could cause a form of hysteria amongst some of the fans. We need to prepare you for some of the reactions you may face in store, as witnessed in the customer testing.
These include:
Fainting: This is a rare reaction but during testing the excitement levels were so high after the first bite was taken, some people fainted due to the euphoria it created. Because of this, please advise all customers to sit down whilst eating their Nutty Chocolatta doughnut to avoid any unnecessary accidents.

Dribbling: We noticed during testing that the doughnut caused an increase in saliva, which some may find hard to contain. In these circumstances, please offer assistance by passing customers a napkin.

Over-excitement: There are several key signs for recognising this, these include squealing as well as jumping up and down on the spot. While we love to see this behaviour, we do ask that you stay vigilant and ensure it doesn’t get out of hand or detract from another guests experience.
