Payments going missing from Natwest and RBS accounts!

There has been fury on social media this morning as many angry Natwest and RBS customers have been complaining about their ‘banking issues’ and the company has stated that some payments are missing from accounts.

According to ITV news: ‘Tax credits and salaries have not appeared as they should, according to complaints from angry customers on social media – with many now worried they will face late payment fees or charges for bills which should have been paid.’

As you can imagine this has caused quite an up raw as hundreds have headed over to voice their panic and anger on Facebook and Twitter. There really is nothing worse than having your card declined at the checkout, but that’s what is happening to many customers as they come to realise the bank is experiencing difficulties.

Natwest have tweeted: ‘Some customer payments are missing this morning – we are investigating this issue as a matter of urgency.’

Some customers will be offered temporary credit if funds are needed urgently, although so far there is no timescale for when the glitch will be fixed and people will be able to regain access to their money. Obviously this is a big worry for some people who may not be able to afford things such as food, bills and other necessities that they rely on until their money is paid in successfully.

If you have been affected and need to access funds today, customers are urged to contact them on 03457 888444 or visit your branch.
