Popular supermarket Asda have recalled a line of sausages amid allergy fears.
The C and K Meat’s Country style, and Sage and Red Onion pork sausages, have been pulled from shelves after it was found that the sausages contained sulphur dioxide.
The preservative which is used in a range of foods, was not stated on the label and can cause allergic reactions particularly to those who suffer from asthma, which has prompted the store to issue a recall.

The affected Pork Sausages have the use by dates of March the 18th, 21st, and 23rd.
Asda are urging their customers to return their un-eaten sausages to their local Asda for a full refund.
None of the manufacturers other products are thought to be affected.
