Record number of security in preparation for Black Friday!

You may have seen in the news this week that stores are putting lots of extra security procedures in place ready for the big shopping event that is Black Friday.

There will be a record number of extra security guards on duty tomorrow as they prepare for more aggressive behaviour with fights breaking out over bargains. 

There were some shocking scenes from last year’s event with brawls breaking out all over the UK. However, rest assured lessons have been learned and extra precautions have been put in place to make sure there are no repeats of last year.

A Tesco spokesman said: “We have taken steps including increasing numbers of security guards.”

Sainsbury’s joined Tesco yesterday in axing midnight sale launches after drunks went to stores from pubs last year and caused trouble.
