There is an apartment in London right now that is priced at £895 – Yet it is only 75ft of space! It is believed to be Britain’s smallest apartment.

For your money you get a single bed, a tiny kitchen hidden behind a mirror and a very narrow bathroom. 

However, you will live across the road from Harrods if that makes the rent any easier to bear?

So, what else could they have got for their money around the UK? Lets take a look…

In Newcastle, for £800 they could have got a 4 bed semi detached house with a master en suite, utility room, garage and a decked garden. 

 

In Birmingham, for £875 they could have got a 4 bedroom semi which has just been refurbished from top to bottom. All bedrooms are double rooms too.

 

In Manchester, for just an extra £5 a month, taking the rent to £900, they could get a 5 bedroom semi house. 

 

In Leeds, you can get a 4 bedroom detached house for £875. There is multiple en suite bedrooms!
