Sainsbury’s recalls cheese due to bacteria

Sainsbury’s is urgently recalling some of its Camembert products due to the presence of Listeria bacteria.

The supermarket chain is recalling products containing Camembert with ‘use by’ dates up to and including 6 Match 2016.

This particular bacteria can cause food – borne illness with pregnant women, young children and anyone with weakened immune systems.

Sainsbury’s are urging customers to avoid eating the product and return to the store for a full refund.

 

Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference French Camembert Cheese 250g, Taste the Difference Baking Camembert Cheese 250g and Camembert Pays 250g are all being recalled as a precautionary measure.
