Santa letters for blind or partially sighted children at RNIB

RNIB are arranging letters to Santa for partially sighted or blind children.

I love the idea of this! No child should be left out at anytime, especially when it comes to receiving a letter from Santa.

If you send your child’s letter to Santa, the RNIB will ask you to send photos, drawings, news or anything else your child would like alongside it.

Santa will send his response in one of the below formats:

  • uncontracted braille (grade 1)
  • contracted braille (grade 2)
  • large print (please specify the font size)
  • or audio CD

Each letter will receive a personalised response from Santa in your preferred reading format – just ensure you send your letter before the closing date to receive yours!

You can even send Santa an email on [email protected].

Send your letter to: Santa Claus, RNIB, PO Box 173, Peterborough, PE2 6WS.

Make sure to include the following information with your letter:

  • Your name and address (or the name of the child and their address)
  • The age of the child
  • a contact number (in case we have a query)
  • the format you require:
    • uncontracted braille (grade 1)
    • contracted braille (grade 2)
    • large print (please specify the font size)
    • or audio CD
  • your language preference: English or Welsh

The closing date for letters to Santa is Tuesday 1 December 2016
