Smyths have issued an urgent recall notice for the 24V Turnado Drift and told customers to stop using it immediately.

This products has been on sale since November 2015.

Smyth’s say the toy has been recalled due to a potential mechanical and electrical fault.

The reference number of the cars affected is 146570.

Smyths have said ”We are urging customers not to use the product and return it with the mains plug and charger to their local Smyths Store, where they will receive a refund or an alternative replacement product. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact your local Smyths Toys Store or contact us through our online help centre. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your co-operation.”

As this is a recall, it does not matter if you have proof of purchase or your receipt, simply take the item back and you will be refunded.
