Famous coffee chain Starbucks has announced that it will be permanently offering Emergency Service Workers 10% discount in all its UK and Ireland stores.

We all know just how hard our wonderful emergency services work, keeping us safe and healthy every day, so Starbucks have decided to give a little bit back by treating them to beverages and food at a discounted price to say thank you.

The brand has teamed up with Blue Light Card and the Defence Discount Service, to help treat its customers, who will be able to use one of these cards to claim their Starbucks discount from now on.

Both the Defence Privilege Card and the Blue Light Card cost £4.99 for a 5 year membership and can be used by anyone who works in the army, emergency services, NHS, or is a military veteran.

What’s even better is that the price reduction will also apply to their family and friends too, for when they want to have some much deserved chill time with their loved ones.

The services definitely deserve extra recognition for the amazing jobs they do everyday, so it’s great that Starbucks is recognising the great work that they do.
