I have compiled a list of places you can get student discount.

These are just the ones I know about so if you know of any more please get in touch and I will update the list and will thank you personally 🙂

There is also an app called Unidays that gives you discount at different retailers if you’re a student – thank you Rivea for this info 🙂

For most of these you will first need to buy a NUS card!

Accessorize: 10% off.
Adobe: Up to 80% discount on software
Alton Towers: up to 45% off tickets with NUS Extra or 35% off with a UCAS card.
Amazon.co.uk: 5% discount off everything with NUS Extra and 10% off clothes.
Animal: 10% off online with your NUS Extra.
Apple: No set discount but go instore and ask and they always give you something
ASOS: 10% off with NUS Extra Card
ARK clothing – 10% discount
ASK Italian: 25% off food bill with NUS Extra card.
Austin Reed: 15% off with NUS Extra card

Bella Italia: 20% off bill with a UCAS card. They also hold student nights giving you 50% off your food bill.
Bench: 25% off with NUS Extra.
Ben Sherman: 10% off with NUS Extra.
BHS: 15%
Boots Opticians/D&A: £5 eye test with NUS Extra card & 10% off glasses over £100.
Boohoo – 10% discount
Bulldog: 25% off with NUS Extra.
Burton: 10% off.

Cass Art: For London art students, these guys offer 15% off full price –you’ll need to ask for it, though.
Claire’s Accessories – 15% off with NUS Extra card, 10% without.
Cath Kidston: 10% off.
Cineworld: Student ticket prices around 10% less than normal adult prices (differs depending on location.) NUS Extra gets students a free 13th month of the Cineworld Unlimited card.
Coast: 20% off with NUS Extra.

Coop – 10% off when you show your NUS card – Thank you Sammy Jo

Dominos: Spend over £25 and get 25% off with NUS Extra card. £5 off when you spend over £20 with UCAS card (Sometimes it’s collection only, best to ask first)
Dorothy Perkins: 15% off .

Maplin Electronics: 5% off
Maximuscle: 20% off with NUS Extra online.
Matalan: 10% off.
McDonalds: Free Medium Fries with a Big Mac or McChicken sandwich with NUS Extra. Better yet, show your student card when you buy a meal and get a free hamburger or cheeseburger or McFlurry!
Megabus: 10% off all coach travel.
Microsoft: Various offers- but they always have something! Usually huge savings. They also offer STEM students access to dreamspark products (free operating systems!)
Missguided – 15% discount
Miss Selfridge: 10% off.
Mulberry: 10% off with NUS Extra in participating stores.
Musto: 10% off.

National Express: 25% off coach travel with NUS Extra, though not all journeys valid. “Only off FULL PRICE tickets, not off saver tickets when bought in advance”
Newcastle Hair and Beauty Clinic: 10% off all treatments when you show your NUS card. (This is above Superdrug on Northumberland Street)
New look: 10% off.
Nicky Clarke: 40% off haircuts at Nicky Clarke Salons with NUS Extra… though Nicky’s website just says ‘with valid NUS card’ so your student ID may suffice.

O2: Various- ask instore. I got 35% off a contract.
Oasis: 10% off with NUS Extra.
Odeon Cinema: Student price tickets and a further 25% off that with NUS Extra, valid Monday- Thursday.
Office: 10% off in store.
Orange: Discounts for students buying a new phone -ask and bargain hard. They’ll give you around 10% off.

Paperchase – 10% discount
Peacocks: 10% off in store -and 20% off for a little while during Autumn/Winter.
People Tree: 10% off with NUS Extra.
Phoenix Software: Heavily discounted software packages (Microsoft Office, Windows 7, Adobe, Norton).
Pizza Hut: 20% off full price menu with NUS Extra card, Sunday – Thursday.
Play.com: 5% off on lots of different products, including DVDs and games. Requires NUS Extra or UCAS card.

Schuh: 10% off.
Select – 15% discount
Shakeaway: 10% off.
Shoe Zone: 10% off
Spotify: 50% off premium with NUS Extra and uni days
STA Travel: The whole site is designed to get students discounts. There are a fair few others offering dirt cheap deals too.
Subway: 10% off.
Superdrug: 10% off.
