ATG Tickets launched their north-east leg of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Sunderland Empire and some of my team were invited as guests.

We were treated to drinks and a showing of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels which may I add was a particularly funny performance, I am not normally one for musicals but this one had an element of quirkiness, even the singing parts of the show were really quite good and gave me tingles up my spine.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has already been enjoyed by half a million people in London’s West end theatre’s. The show features a star-studded cast including Michael Praed (Robin of Sherwood), Noel Sullivan (Hear’Say) and Carly Stenson (Hollyoaks)  alongside guest star Mark Benton (who you may recognise from Nationwide building society adverts). The cast members are in fact theatre veterans with many top shows including Shrek, Legally Blonde, Grease, Fame and We will Rock You under their belt.

We didn’t actually realise this until we looked at the programme afterwards as we were really quite far at the back in the upper circle so it was difficult to actually see the cast.

I would highly recommend if you were thinking of going to see this performance then go ahead and go see it as you will be pleasantly surprised.
