Template letter for complaining to a company

There are two ways of seeing if you can get something from one of the companies, one is the nicey nicey approach by complimenting them on a job well done in the hopes that they will appreciate the feedback and send something nice. The other is the complaining rout.

This is usually the second choice for me as I prefer to be nice, however if there is a problem then don’t be afraid to let them know…….

Here is my template letter:

To whom it may concern

I have been using your products for a number of years and have always enjoyed the, However this time when purchasing……………. I was disappointed to find that it was not up to your usual standard.

State the reason why such as it tasted funny, was only half full, did not do the job properly.

Although I realise this is a one-off incident, I thought I would let you know as I know that you value the quality of the products you produce.

Again don’t forget to put your name and address in the top right so they can send you something in the post and include your email as many will not take the time to write but may email as it’s quicker.
