Tesco introduces immediate price match at tills!

In a desperate bid to fight back against its competitors, supermarket giant Tesco has launched a new scheme which has been named as the most drastic price-cutting measure taken by a supermarket ever before.

The new ‘brand guarantee’ scheme, which will start from today, promises to automatically deduct the difference in the price of a customer’s shopping than it would have been in Asda, Morrisons or Sainsbury’s.

Tesco has been forced to take drastic action after it was hit by an accounting scandal and posted the biggest loss in its history.

According to The Telegraph, the move, which the struggling supermarket giant claims is a first, is the most drastic of price-cutting measures taken by the big chains as they mount a fight back against Aldi and Lidl.
