There is a massive change coming to online shopping with Tesco

Tesco to start charging for click and collect

One of the best perks of online shopping is being able to click and collect instore for free. It keeps the cost of your basket down and is a fantastic way to avoid high delivery fees.

However, come February, this will at change at Tesco as they introduce a £2 fee to click and collect your shopping.

This will only apply to orders under £30.

Tesco said in a statement ”From early February 2016, we will be introducing a £2 delivery charge for Click+Collect orders under £30 at Tesco direct. This will help ensure we can continue to offer you the convenience of picking up your order from your chosen store at a time that suits you. All customers will continue to enjoy free Click+Collect delivery for orders over £30 on Tesco direct. And there’s no change to home delivery options.”

If you are a delivery saver customer, you won’t be affected by this change. They will still get free delivery on Tesco Direct orders over £10 and free click and collect with no minimum spend.

Would you rather pay the £2 C&C fee or pay £3 for delivery? Let me know your thoughts over on my Facebook page.
