This secret iPhone setting could get people into trouble!

I couldn’t believe it when I read about this little iPhone trick that is only just coming to light!

Apparently this secret setting tracks where you live and work and states every location you ever visit right down to the second! I found that actually quite scary so decided to test it out for myself, and there it was! The list of every location I had ever visited, it even knew where ‘home’ and ‘work’ were!

Perhaps the scariest thing about this is the thought of what would happen if your phone was to get stolen, the thief would have access to your home address and would even be able to work out at what times you’d be in or out at work!

The top secret setting itself is buried like a time capsule and is not something you’d ever be likely to stumble upon accidently!

To see what’s in yours, go to Settings, then Privacy, then Location Services. Then tap the System Services menu and scroll down to Frequent Locations menu.

Of course once you eventually get to it, there is the option to turn it off and this video that has been going viral this week explains how to do it!

Obviously this can be an extremely risky setting to have switched on if you have something to hide!
